Description

my friends & i went swimming yesterday & i saw this plant lying around next to the pool.. i thought id take a picture of it, but didnt really turn out as well as i wanted it to.. so i messed with it for awhile, again i practiced the selective coloring thing, & also i messed around with the "dry brush" effect. i liked both so i thought id put them together, to see some kind of difference. thank you so much for all the comments :] really appreciate it. all constructive criticisms are definitely welcome ;] <3

Very well done! I don't know if you have photoshop, but if so, the shadow/highligh control would help bring out some of the detail in the original shot! And curves would help darken the background a bit to make the postwork just a tad easier. Great work!
