I don't know how you Macro Meisters do it...
the little critters just won't hold still long enough!
Just about the time you are ready to push the button, they either move, jump or fly.
This little critter was less than an inch long, and I
ended up holding camera at arm's length, without any preview,
and trying several shots before he was gone.
I admire y'all's patience more and more!
... thanks for looking,... Maria

Awesome capture! Another most unusual bug, I know it's some sort of grasshopper, but I've never seen one like it before! Thanks & Bravo!

lol i know that problem... :) they don't sit still or the leav or blossom where they're on is moving forth and back in the wind... ;) a great macro...! very well done!!! :)

Guess we all know that very well. Patience is the key ... and perhaps shooting in the early morning when those buggers are slower than usual. Congrats an that fine capture. Well done!

Isn't nature the most wonderful thing. what a beautiful colour. Our grasshoppers in England are mostly a dirty looking greeny brown. Although our bush crickets are e-nor-mouse(and usually brown!!!)
