If I am correct, you are in Australia and not to far off from a very sacred place. Unfortunately the name of the mountain escapes me. Since this is a self-portrait, I understand the hidden meassages revealed in the landscape.

@ Egmont: You are right, this is infact near the sacred rock called 'Uluru' or commenly known as ;Ayres Rock'. Uluru, meaning 'the meeting place' in abrogional dreamtime. This mountain in this photo (Mt Conner), is aproxmately 60 - 70km from Uluru. Mt Conner is 750m above sea level, and in this photo I was approxmately 30km from it. These part of part of the country is known as 'Central Australia'.

Splendid self-portrait Saurav ! The contrasts are amazing with the red sand. I would like to go to Uluru and to learn more about abrogional culture. Eyes rock is famous all over the world but I think that when you are in front of this strange place, feeling all the vibrations of it... it must be something magic ! Australia is really wonderful, and full of surprises. Have a nice night Saurav (I'm working.... but you are sleeping now ;-)))

@ pixelatorz: The graduated blue sky is a result of using a polarizer and a bit of vignetting done in Photoshop.
