Description
Due to all of your inspirational support from my last uploaded photo, I've decided to share with you another image from that same session of running back and forth after setting the timer. Here, I experimented a bit with the Hue/Saturation in Photoshop and discovered that I prefer the black & white version of this particular photo to the color version which, to me, looked a bit off. Removing the color seemed to balance things out quite nicely. This is a far darker image than the first one, literally and in spirit, but I believe it portrays the more profound sentiment of hope. Please share with me your thoughts, advice, comments...either here, PM, or e-mail; they make such a big difference to me. Thank you again, in advance. :) (Taken August 1, 2005)

Ive seen the last one too - and I have to say it hat more style... Even if its too much light in the last one - it has the fairy-tale-look, yes. This one here is just a bit bland imho... But I like the idea, not that bad for your first steps in postworking... And by the way... your hands seem to be extraordinary beautiful... :-)

when it comes of portraits, my preference is for B/W, too - the higher contrast that is found in tones of gray is far more beautiful than what you can find in the color version; the color version has its own perfume and only you can decide whether you post or print a photo in B/W or color! your portrait is very well executed! all my appreciations! ~mihai~
