Description
everyone knows about the dangers and hazards of smoking, and second hand smoke. not too many talk about the litter of cig butts. Just something to think about.

I stopped smoking on 25.12.04. I joined Renderosity soon after - I'm not sure which is more adictive - lol

I had told a friend to quit smoking as he was a chain smoker. He laughed at me and said "it was his life". 4 years down the road, his blood vessels on his leg started to clot/collapse. He had to replace his leg veins. He had done several operations for the same problems. The doctor told him to quit smoking cause its not helping his vein problems. My friend told the doctor the same thing he had told me, "Its was his Life". The doctor said ok........then its no problem. I'll have to remove your leg. My friend suddenly saw the light! He quit smoking that day and never touched cigarettes again. Smoking causes many different health problems. Stop smoking and it will stop the cigarette butt trash. I am proud to say I quit 13 yrs ago .. having kids really got me thinking a whole new way ... thank God for my kids.

gag I hate cigarette smoke, and it has destroyed my health (asthma) through the second-hand variety. Some people dump their ashtrays in parking lots, and that looks gross enough, let alone in any other type of public place. If I stay away from cigarette smoke, my asthma goes away, totally. Can't convince the part of the family that still smokes though. As sharky says about his friend, "it's his life" and that is their attitude until they finally get the message.
