like this! one suggestion..a minor one..but throwing it in...maybe the wall behind the monster could be a bit further back, so to speak, to give some more depth and 3d effect to this image..I like this, tho.,but you asked!! nice work!

Well since you are almost there, might as well go for the "Full-on-Balrog" Add demo wings and smoke, more dramatic lighting. I think it would work really well!

This is so cool! All suggestions good so far; I'd love some spitting lava small bubbles and fire spits happening. The lava wouldn't have shadows on it..maybe disable "receive shadows"? Love this guy :)
