Well I was messin around with metaballs in bryce and had somethin wierd happen when I messed with the texture types. This is the result. I made a bunch of smaller metaballs and then made them a volume texture so they would look like they where on fire. I then created the Large metaball in the center and instead of merging textures like metaballs usually do when the are surface textures it surrounded the voulume texture and merged the smaller balls with the large one. Well I thought it looked kinda cool so I uploaded it for you all to look at and to let you know how to get another cool effect in bryce via accidents :) Enjoy.
