Description
Obviously heavy post work on this. I can't get MojoTree to give me anywhere near the quality - apart from anything else, the rendering time would be hoplessly long... that's if most machines could even cope.
How are we supposed to produce near-realism if some purists say a big no to post processing.
All views and comments welcome.
Perhaps I should raise this point in the forum, but I guess this is a more direct approach.

Superb foreground tree & vegetetion!!...I totally agree with your points raised about Post processing (I have to as I never fail to use postwork myself...If I think it will improve the image)...My answer to the "purists" would be "Give me a program that can reproduce my thoughts/concepts to the Nth degree and I would be happy to keep things "pure"..Untill then we will just have to go with our flow Rob...^_^...Great work!!

To me, it doesn't matter how ya get there..the end result is all that's important.. This is a fine render...post work or not... I haven't spent enough time in Mojotree to make a judgement.. Too many toys, to little time..

Mojotree is like everything else in Mojoworld. It will take a long time to develop and because things are being created on such a potentially big scale rendering times are slow. Postwork is a way of getting your ideas realized. We now have the capability of volumetrics and forrests but I dread to think of render times and RAM requirements if you added all that into one planet. Just think of the fact that you are using a program that is so far ahead. As CPU speeds increase Mojo will just sail into the future.

Xlt work Rob...sorry for the late response. MJT is a bit relentless & it takes hours of work just to get something resembling nature. One oif the biggest problems with MJT as well as imported objects is that they appear flat...2D & bland. However I am sure that there are things in place that will evolve these issues:)) However if you feel like splashing out on the cash..there are some super HiRes tree objects on the web for pro users but they can cost $200+ each. Personally Id prefer to develop my MJT know how ..save the cash & post as you have done here if needs be :) Keep experimenting with MJT...its a powerful tool:))
