I don't think I missed an episode of the original Star Trek and I can't imagine anyone but James Doohan playing 'Scotty'...this is a wonderful tribute to both the man and the character.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Doohan quite a few times years ago when I was involved in a group that put on Star Trek and Science Fiction conventions. He would have loved this image, especially the ladies :) Awesome work.

Beam me up Scotty. (ditto) Now I have another reason to keep my Scottish flag hanging. He, as well as DeForest Kelley are sorely missed. I never had the privilage of seeing every episode of Star Trek, but I did see all of the movies and couldn't help but embrace the character of the show and the people in it. Yes, I am a Trekkie (Somewhat). A tearfull fare thee well, Scotty. :_(

I have a directory under "3d" called Reference. In it, I place images I feel are examples of what I should be heading toward as I learn Posert et al. This image is now in my Reference folder.
