I'm just a girl with a Nikon D90, who loves taking pictures of just about anything and everything. Postworking my images is 'my thing' .. The main programs I use are: Photoshop CS 5, Corel painter 12. I am currently laid off and seeking employment. I have been in the technical support field for the last 12 years and have really enjoyed the work. Not sure what I want to do now. I think it depends on what is out there and what is available. Competition is tough, there are so many out of work these days.
Anyway! I have been a member at Renderosity since 2004.ÂÂ

Lovely photo and capture:)

I like it. the contrastof the butterflycolors against the green (and the light) is what makes it for me. The sharpness isn't critical for this shot. Stand back a foot or two and you'll see what i mean.

It wasnt nice silly....IT WAS GORGEOUS!!!!! And so is this one, really beautiful!!! Im most impressed with your persistance Shari, i would have given up after 20 minutes...thats usually how long i give them and if they dont freezy by then i just move onto the next "project"...which is usually Eija, LOL. Never shot anything in RAW yet, will have to try that out someday. Beautiful work!!! Have a great friday #:O)

I know.. taking pictures of butterflies is difficult. They always seem to move just at the moment you want to take your picture, not to mention the wings that are always closed just when you hoped they would open up... so.. considering all the hardships you had to suffer, this a very reasonable.. no .. this is a very good picture.. !!
