Description
A Junker Ju-52 military transport. A beautiful plane, IMO, despite what it represents. The plane in the background is a Ford Tri-engine - the plane on the old airmail stamps.

Even though Yunkers evolves certain negative attitudes for Russians, the image is great! Really, where do still they fly?

The photo was taken at the Experimental Aircraft Association's Airventure Expo in Oshkosh, WI. I usually include where it was shot, but this time, I forgot. Sorry :P

Regardless of the association with aircraft has to political history, it is a marvelous machine and also was one of Lufthansa Airlines first plane. At first I thought this was a painting and not a photograph, so double congratulations.
