Description

There was a little angel With the wings of a butterfly Who wanted to paint rainbows But she couldn't reach the sky She saw the wind was coming And that it would bring the rain She had to learn a way by dawn Or never have a chance again She gathered her brushes and palette And her paints of many colors And went to ask a tree near by How to catch a cloud that hovers The tree at first ignored her So she repeated with flattery "I'll tell you a sweet secret If you kindly will help me" The tree then obliged And with a whisper not so proud Said, "you need to find romance If you want to float upon a cloud" She looked at the tree with a smile Asking "Is that all I have to do"? And the tree said, "Yes, now what's my secret?" And the angel replied, "I love you"

'The tree at first ignored her So she repeated with flattery' 'The tree then obliged And with a whisper not so proud' Reminds of Dylan, something there is about it... Smooth read. :)

Sweet, gentle piece, there's plenty of room for that in the world.
