Description

This is what we call the Ammerse Boezem in the middle of the Alblasserwaard region. The Alblasserwaard has beautiful polders covered with different types of windmills (two of them are visible at this picture). One of the most important windmill spots in Holland, the Kinderdijk mills, are also located in the Alblasserwaard. So, if you ever have a chance to visit Holland and if you are interested in traditional techniques, don forget visiting the Alblasserwaard. Minolta dimage 7i
