Description

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in a little bit...other things have been taking up my time. But I do have another terraspace collaboration for you all. This is one I worked on with an artist at deviantArt named goran-d We both just joined a terraspace art group there and this is our first joint submission to an art pack with the theme of "Life" Here is my little blurb about it: "Standing on a green planet full of life we witness a devastating event as the life upon two other planets is snuffed out by a massive celestial collision. A vision of life...a witnessing of death. Life After Death." Of course I did the terragen render...and goran-d did the space art in photoshop. My original render was 4000x3000 pixels. This image had to be saved at only 90% quality here, but you can find the 2.1Mb highest quality version in my gallery at deviantArt here: Life After Death A print will soon be available through that link too. I just read parts of the thread in the forum about posting images with lots of postwork, so I'm just going to say that I like to post these images here in the terragen gallery, and not the mixed medium gallery, because I consider this place my home here at renderosity. :) That and I want to share my art with all of you. Enjoy! I should begin posting more images soon. --Mike

Awesome image although I'm not sure any life will be continuing much longer in this solar system due to some serious gravitational problems.

Fantastic realisation, really impressive. But astronomicaly, If one so big planetoid shall touch earth, the planet will be dislocated by the mass cinetic impact, so I agree with "efflux". You can see in the sky the result of such impact between Mars and Jupiter : the asteroid belt which is proof that it was formely a planet destructed by such impact. But I maintain that the artistic realisation is fantastic.

My wish would be from now, be there as soon as the moon impacts this planet. You two - masters - should sell your works. Greetings from Poland. email: neostart@o2.pl
