Description
this is two photos useing blacklight.[a collage] I was going to write something about this image but my son who is in college studying to be a pcychiatrinse[you know a mind doctor some one who will tell you crazy] told me not to write it. It too touchy.
So I going with his ideal and let you write what you think of this image.
You wonder why I write my ideals down ? I open up images that blow me away but the artist is not talking. Van Gogh wrote to his brother about his paintings and what going on in his life. That why we know so much about this man and his work. more that any other artist that I know of.
I not putting myself next to Van Gogh. Lol I nothing in the art place in the world but I do wish people to know what I thinking. But in this case I will not speak for my son say it too touchy of a subject. Now it a mystery and a sad one too.

It certainly is interesting. Art is about touchy subjects, at least some of the time. It is also about deep feelings, and things that are beyond words.

Sometimes the phrase "Say Goodnight" can mean say goodnight to your life. This image has a menacing feel to it. The hand seems to be about to grab the face of the other person...as if to suffocate its life's breath. The passive person looks sad...as if he does not care. Great imagery. I wonder what your thoughts were on this piece. Too bad you got censored. Excellent photo manipulation, Jock!

hey Jock, I thought the idea was to paint the walls! my painter clothes look like your body paint almost. I suggest , do not analize things too much. just get them out in the open

This man is disinterested in humanity. He uses color to almost step into a more abstract realm where only color presents a whole. Perhaps he has been studying oil slicks on swamp water for their irridescent sheen of rainbow hues. Now he replies in greater display.

Now in simple lay man's terms this is creepy (what my shrink would say,and I have two of these types in my family my brother's two girls would most proberly drive everybody crazy). I always tell those two nieces of mine that if they need a crazy to practice on they can do that with me. I won't even charge them. Now that's crazy of me. Cool job Jock

First thing It reminds me of is a spiritual battle between the soul and the spirit! Die to the flesh..The Spirit is the one pushing away the soulish part in this! Very creative image Jock! :)

I think your picture says it all Jock and it's a wonderful one too! I do hope your son listens when you want to just get it all out though. A good listener is a very valuable tool when we are needing to vent. :-) VOTE
