Description
Forest Home Cemetary in Milwaukee has much in the way of interesting figurative funerary art. The next few days, I'll share some of that with you.
First off, a bronze angel guarding the tomb of the Chapman family. The human section is roughly lifesized.

I like the lighting and the composition of this shot. There's a cool quietness to it. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one hanging out in cemetaries. My wife and I are both involved with history and we love taking strolls through old cemetaries from time to time. You'd be surprised what you can learn. I look forward to seeing more. BTW: A big "hey" from Fort Atkinson, WI!
