Description
The first time I selected the genre "modeling" to show you some things I'm working on: flowering shrubs. I was looking quite a long time for flowering bushes - the only you can get are all working with alphas. But I wanted 3D flowers - now that I'm trying to do it I know why: If you don't restrict the amount of polygones, they will explode! Well, this is the result of some weeks work with xfrog - usable plants suitable for middleground - perhaps for foreground too.
Hopefully they will be available soon.
Botanical this image is not correct - I know. Forsythias are not flowering at the same time as Spiraeas, Rosa rugosas and Jasmine. Hope you like it nevertheless - and comments are allways appreciated!

Who cares about the botanical stuff, lol. I love all these flowering shrubs! Thuis is a very pretty scene. I think this would be the perfect place for a picknick.

This is the kind of perfectionism I like. I rely very much on my own (plant)models and textures as well, more fun and satisfying that way. Well, mock them up in the same spot, regardless of their flowering season, for presentation, who cares :) Funny, just today while biking through my city, I was thinking of modelling, or try to, a "wild rose bush". Your version is very impressive. Excellent work!

Lovely composition. Das Problem brauchbare Bche und dann noch mit Blen zu finden, kenne ich. Deine sind ausgezeichnet geworden. War sicher ne Menge Arbeit. Hut ab, daf, Doro. Das Resultat kann sich sehen lassen. Bravo!

Sorry, I haven't commented earlier because I've been away. Wow Doro, your work with x-frog looks fantastic! I know it's not an easy program to learn and these are really great. I'm looking forward to them. Please let me know when they're on the market because I don't often check the Marketplace to see what's new.
