Description
This month's PC render challenge is a Fake Romance Novel cover. Here's the full-sized version of mine. Credits: M3, Wizard Robe, Arizona Hair & textures are by Daz. Background by Saiyan. The skull thingie is one of Kel's PSP tubes, as is the Blood Gem -- hey, he's a vampire! -- and the snake came from 3dsk. Demon is Corel Clip art. Postworked to hell & back, as usual. So maybe it's not "pure 3d", big deal. ;-)

Very nice, Byrdie! Love how you have all kinds of stuff going on in the background, and yet it doesn't make the image too cluttered. And hey, I almost never do a "pure 3d" render--you use whatever tools you need to get the end result you're looking for. :-)
