Thank for your kind comments/feedback on She sits... ...and after a long day's walking it's nice to return to the square in Chipude and see the changing colours as the sun sets... However, we could so easily have never seen this and a quite a few other shots, as after returning late afternoon, I sat for a while in this square just behind where you can see the trees. Aching and tired I then went to my room, showered and rested for a few hours, before going down to the bar. It was getting cool, and the sun was setting, and I went to get my camera to capture the sunset - and could not find it! I searched my room... my luggage... nothing! I went back to the bar... it was not there! 'Has anyone seen my camera?' - and no-one had seen it! Where could it possibly be??? Then the dreadful thought... the horrible realisation, that after all these years I'd finally lost my faithful camera... and after it had served me so well and accompanied me on so many trips... Feeling somewhat melancholy, I wandered out into the square, minus my camera, to take a look at the sunset... and I wandered back towards where I'd been sitting earlier - and almost unbelievably, there was my camera... sitting there... in full view... and no-one had taken it... ...and then I took this photo... and I do like La Gomera...
