Description
A slight departure from our pure, western style fantasy buildings! Here is a gate from our fictional Japanese castle Arajishi-jo ("Brave Lion Castle"). Arajishi also has other readings: a kind of Japanese drum, and also a species of Camelia. Modeled in Max 7 and rendered in Vue 5 Esprit Ultra.
I was really strapped to figure out which genre to put this in! Medieval? Okay. Historical? Could be, nothing is entirely outlandish, though we replaced the carp decoration with something more abstract. Architecture?
