Description
The U.S.S. Darkstar is the first in a new line of space ships, to leave New Earth and travel further into the stars, than man has traveled before. Using new technology, the Darkstar uses the outer pods of the ship, to generate a field around the ship, and folds space, to take it deep into the reachs of space.
The ship is my first attempt to model, using Metaballs in Bryce 5.5. As always, your comments are very welcome to help me learn and improve my renders.

Cool outerspace background. Spaceship is excellent. But what is in back of the ship? Is it shadow, or a rock? Still great render.
