Pearl is a project with Kurt Belcher, which is very dear to me. Sadly I do not have the time to do it right now. Especially because I already painted some pages and prepared quite a few more. Hopefully next year will be her time

I love this page, just for the 'Super Friends' joke at the end. I guess between this and the 'Wonder Twins' gag on the other page, you can tell that I'm obsessed with the 1970s "Super Friends" cartoon. The joke is based on an actual occurrence, in which a friend walked into a meeting at the local prison in which he worked, slammed his hand down on the table and said the line. No one there laughed, either. :) KAB
