Mmmmh! This is too grey for my taste! There's not enough contrasts between the shot and the frame! Now, it might be on purpose of course, I dunno what ur intentions were here and I can also see the point in that as it creates one piece of work instead of a framed shot but to me, it's really too much grey! Now it's just a matter of tastes of course!

Of all your kloster eberbach photographs, this is my favorite. Perhaps because it reminds me of my monastic days. It captures the sense of austerity and mysticism that I experienced, even though the structure may not appear austere. The B&W heightens the austere atmosphere. The filtered light and shadows displayed are wonderful and remind me of the marvelous quiet within the kloster. I love this photo so much Christian. Your presentation in this one is outstanding, the best of all I've seen thus far. Excellent offering. V
