Description

Finally, I had time to try something new! As usual, I am my own model, using the timer on my camera. I cropped, resized, and changed the image to black and white using Adobe Photoshop. I was hoping to capture an emotion, a story, a heartache.. As usual, I hope that you enjoy my work. Know that I value, as always, your comments and advice. (Taken August 9, 2005)

And what a fine model you picked. #;O) Beautiful photo with perfectly captured emotions. That expression on your face really says it all. You didnt even have to give it a title, it is still so obvious what you were going for with this one. Amazing piece of art that works sooooooooooo well in B/W!!! Great job! Have a wonderful evening, and hope he was just running late. #:O)

I agree with GIMI53, it is the first shot I see from you but the artistic feel is there, powerful and very efficient. I really love this shot for both emotional and technical reasons. The expression of the face, the pose and the symbolic as well as the light and the temper are delicate and subtle.

love the cape and the mood makes me think of a sea wife looking out of a house the coast waiting for a ship to return... this is really spectacular cause it tells a story ... wonderful work!

What you do here is make it seem so dramatic. For you to be able to convey such emotion though art and photography is your natural talent.

Stefanie, this picture is what I would consider most amazing. The expression on your face speaks of real feelings. The picture, capturing the light amazingly well, has used shadows, and shading to help convey the overall message. A marvelous piece of work.
