Description

The elevated roads, which travel over waterways and the seemingly endless shallows and swamplands, lush with life but nearly impassable on foot or horseback, take citizens to almost as many locations as the vast system of natural waterways. Some, such as this traveler, live out on small islets connected to these roads, making a home out in this beautiful but forsaken scape. They must travel to the nearest village for provisions, while they have an endless supply of fish around their homes, which they catch from small boats or over the edge of the roadway.
