Description

UltraFractal 3.05 Somewhere deep within in me is the child I used to be, Yearning to be free again to run and laugh with glee. One who never minded much what other people see, Only caring whether it was fun. I wonder where that child is, is she waiting for my call? I'd seek her from her hiding place and play a game of ball. She's found a dark and secret nook that's really very small. She won't come out until the way is clear. I've tried to tempt her out, I've even offered to play fool, But she is much too stubborn, and she wont play by my rule. For rules are things for grown-ups, like a fence around the school. They aren't good for games she wants to play. Coloring inside the boring lines that have been drawn, And staying neat and clean merely evokes a healthy yawn. Playing hard is all that matters, from the very early dawn, Nothing's more important than the game. I've built a wall to keep her safe, to keep her from all harms. But that only keeps her hiding, out of reach of both my arms. I will have to take the wall down, and turn off all the alarms. To charm her to come out again and play.

Excellent poetry, Viv. And I love this image. A bit different from your usual style, but it is like you are busting out! More!

Excellent poem to go with this wonderfully abstract image. I think the child you used to be has a hand in all of your works, it gives her a chance to explore lots of possibilities. Lovely!

Very beautiful abstract and completely in harmony with the sensitive poem. In my opinion your speaking about the child that has to be reborn in everyone. ( if you know the bible, it's in there)
