Description

"There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened. " --Douglas Adams

I'd like to dedicate this photomanipulation to Eric (digimon) Lindahl. We've become good buddies here on Renderosity, I just wanted to show him I appreciate all his thoughtful comments and the great IM exchanges we've had. If you have not yet seen his gallery, get over there! It is a wonderful combination of mediums, but primarily 3D. He has got some amazing animations you just have to see. He knows how to combine art and humor better than most. Anyway, about this image. I got the idea from a some comment he made, thought what exactly it was escapes me at the moment. Anyway, anyone with his creativity and patience with creating 3D scenes and objects must surely have his brain running in overdrive. So I dusted off Bryce to create the generator room of his mind, and my son Connor posed early one morning (facing the sun) for the close-up. The power junction 3DS model is from Baumgarten Enterprises and was replicated many times for this effect. You don't even want to know how long it took to render! ;^] You can view the two separate images HERE. I know this image has 3D elements, so if the mods want me to move it to Mixed Medium I will, but I thought I'd start it off here since it is MOSTLY a photo. ;] ----- Thanks for stopping by and for your great comments on yesterday's image, Green Bug.
