Heheh. You must have been far away from the security guards who leap on anyone who present a camera too close to the Mona Lisa. Fortunately, there were less people when I was there. :)

If you're in Paris, you kinda have to go see it. I was more facinated with the hundrdeds of people who cram in to see it, than the picture itself. I like the Lourve though, since they DO let you take photos. http://www.zymurgy.org/~phil/Photography/Paris_Day_Three/images/DSCF2979.JPG

thanks ,yes that was also my message , large crowds and a lot of very nice paintings. Also I was fascinated by a clean Paris , organised oneway traffic , this was art itself . people stopping for red and safe crossing roads , no graffity . When you a used to messy Amsterdam.... They try to fight the mess here , but a bit too late .
