Nice render...two small crits: ships did not fly 3 flags from each mast, as you have rendered here. The original modeller created this mesh with 3 seperate flag and 2 seperate sail configurations to be able to render different sets of sails and their use in different weather conditions. Too many flags on a mast would have been confusing if another friendly ship came into view. And signalling would also be misunderstood. Also, one of the only times a ship of war had her ports open at sea, would have been going into battle, gunnery practice, or when in port, to ventilate the lower decks. The chance of bad weather coming up suddenly and shipping water through the ports, flooding the ship and possibly sinking her (remember the Mary Rose, Vasa and the Royal George incidences) was too great a chance. This is a good start, I like the sky colors and the sails you do have out would coincide with the light airs and calmer sea you have rendered. Good start.

Nice job Dave. Like the water - gets better the longer you look at it.

Excellent, the ships attitude matches the sea.
