Description

High School's beginning again next monday so I thought I'd make one last image while I still have the time. Thank you so much for all the comments on my previous images. I really appreiate them... no lighting nor weird reflections this time :) Satori was inspired by my recent journey to Switzerland. In the alps, soaring high above the valleys, lay some beautiful sci-fi restaurants. I tried to take that concept a bit further. I was focusing a lot on the lighting in this one. It really fascinates me seing what kind of effect shadows/light has on the realism of an image. I just love the ones who invented the way of relighting photos! :) www.thomaskrahn.com I hope you like it! Best Regards, Thomas

Excellent, awesome! Love the details of the texture, the lighting and the clouds. All these give the image a lot of depth. Simply beautiful.

Totally excellent image with wonderful clouds and lighting - you achieved your goal well, and the scene is filled with so much wonderful atmosphere! I think it's such a shame that some of these beautiful scenes can get so imposed upon by some of these ultra-modern structures, almost like tins and dicarded bottles in a river - ugly and the kind of thing my hubby would go to great lengths to remove before taking a photo! lol! But.. I've been in those sorts of restaurants, and yes, the views from them are simply awesome, as sometimes is also the food! lol!

Wonderful. All of it looks like a photo to me. I'm sure I wouldn't stay at that hotel. Excellent job.
