after getting a few comments yesterday, i took a picture of the flower again, this time with no flash, & no adjustment of any levels or anything. im not sure if this makes it overall better, but comments will be greatly appreciated. thanks for all the tips & encouragements.. theyre not unnoticed :]

I think i prefer the other one actually. This one sort of makes the flower blend in too much with the rest of the plants. Lacks contrast. Have a great day #:O)

Beautiful colours and light... a bit more contrast would help.

I too prefer the first one to this, it was vibrant where this is just a bit flat, yes contrast boost would help, but still, the first had a feeling about it.
