Description

Thanks to everyone who commented on this car from the first submission. As you can probably see, I have made a ton of changes and improvements to the model. I got rid of the weird things on the hood because they really had no purpose anyways. I changed the spoiler and the entire back end of the car. I changed the slope of the roof so that it's not so sharp anymore. I also fixed the door so that it is much smoother. I know that the wipers may be kinda tricky to use and the door may be kinda hard to open, but I will get to those eventually. My computer was able to make each render (1280X800 resolution) in about 30 min. with Radiosity and a 6X HyperNURBS subdivision level thanks to Windows x64 Edition :-D. Thanks for viewing and comments/sugesstions welcome!

If I showed you a wireframe, the whole car would be look solid black :-P. The reason I have the hypernurbs so high is because any smaller value produces bad reflections and you can start to see the individual polygons. I kinda like the soft look personally though. Thanks for the comments!

previous post- "6x hyper nurbs? can we see a wireframe? ;) I think the whole car seems to look as though its 'melting'. Too soft. Y'know?"....'any smaller value produces bad reflections and you can start to see the individual polygons.' Did you use a Phong tag?
