Great POV, you have black triangles where the land meet water I believe it's a terragen problem, the water is cool by the way, concerning the surfaces maybe the brown is too brown and the green too green that's give an image with too much contrast try more subtile gray/brown and yellow/green and add more layers, so hope my little tips may help you.
