Description

If you drive over the great plains, you see them everywhere. Some guy raised on the farm with a city or town job is sick of urban living. Trying to regain some part of his past, he purchases a few acres out in the middle of nowhere, puts a mobile home on it and moves his family back to the country. He'll likely have a horse or two for the kids, a riding mower with which to battle his several acres lawn and probably one of those ready made tool sheds from Lowe's or Home Depot in which to house the garden tractor. There may be a gravel driveway, but just as often it is just dirt. The wife has her little four-wheel drive SUV and he commutes back to town every week day to work. There are usually a number of dogs and cats. Most of the dogs are the big working dog kind. But there may be a terrior or other small dog too. If they are lucky, their little piece of heaven will be at least several miles distant from their closest neighbors. Someday, they hope to trade in their trailor for a modular home, but that's a long way in the future. For now, their 12 wide by 56 footer will have to do. Credits: Trees: OldWorld. Mobile home and garden tractor: Sams3d but retextured by me. Barbed wire fence: Mark Feemster also retextured by me. 1988 Mitsubishi Pajero: Net freebie from Planit3d retextured by me. Butane tank and Tool shed: Modeled and textured by me. Gravel road: Texture by J. Trout, which I turned into a terrain. Jessi figure: Poser6. Forground and Background terrains: Modeled by me in Bryce 5.5 with grass textures by Jonathan Allen. P4 horses: textures by MoonRose. Jack Russell Terriors: original model is by Daio, adapted by permission from the SS Toy Dogs model by Silverleaf Studios (Poser Pros). Juli's texture adapted by me from Daio's "Toy Dog JR" texture. Toy Dog poses by Netherworks Studios. Whew! Think that's it!! Thanks for stopping by and for any constructive or encouraging comments. Jeremy

Great Scene! Looks so peaceful and it really reminds me of a place I've been 10 years ago when my family visited friends in the States! And they even had the same pickup ;)

Actually, fluffgirl, they are large grassy hills. I wanted to make them more like Kansas hills, but settled for Nebraska ones because of the lobbying of my wife. :)

Beautiful - realistic - and peaceful also. And the story is right on.
