What is she one of the Von Trap family? ;) "The children need play clothes, so I made some from the old drapes!" ;) That can not have been easy, making clothes in Bryce! You have infinitely more patience than I! I think she looks cute! But very sad? (Mad?) Looks like she has chosen to be alone? Any-way..Great composition! Nice to see color return to your landscape! The over all image has an orange tint? Very cool! She shows a lot of emotion!

Poor little girl.. Shoeless, draped in a drape, hot rocky terrain.. Probably remembering the time she and her friends were playing last at the old pond back home.. with the dog splashing everyone and getting the picnic blanket and food all wet.. WAAAaaaaaaaaa...... Everyone knows the feeling of being alone and sad. Maybe because the others have made fun of you or teased. Maybe this is because she's a girl and they won't let her play. This might be the first time she felt different and left out. So much emotion is felt here, excellent creation! **

My God Violet there are no words that can express the beauty in this piece. All is right on the money expression pose lighting and hues. Everything way beyond excellent here Hats off to ya all the way for this one
