Description

I was just in Nebraska on vacation. In Minden, NE there is an Arch built across the highway. Inside they depict the trials of the area over the years, including the Oregon Trail and the Mormon Trail. Here we see depicted a likely scene from the Mormon Trail. They set out too late and were walking through rivers, streams, and lakes that were starting to freeze. I could never imagine living back then and having to do the amazing things that those people did.
