Hello! My name is Jodie. I live in Minnesota where the temps can fluxuate by 20 degrees in one day. Most of my photos have been taken very close to my home, a 10 acre hobby farm., where I raise Alpacas and chickens. I am a band director, a musician/singer and a photographer/adviser on the yearbook committee. My camera of choice is a Nikon. I have a D90 and a D70. I also have a SB800 flash and favorite lens is Nikon 18-200mm AF-S, with VR. Revisiting the visual arts is something I should have done years ago. If I see something remarkable, I just try to capture it. Nobody else will ever see it quite that way again so I hope you try that, too. This is just like expensive therapy for us. Thank you for visiting and may you have a peaceful day!

Beautiful... even noxious weeds can be lovely if viewed the right way. Of course these is no comfort when picking them out of fur, I suspect. Another excellent photo.

Heheh... When I was a kid we used to have burr fights. The green ones weren't good for much, but the dried out brown ones could be quite nasty- especially when aimed at some girl's hair... It's been a long time since I've been involved in that sort of mischief.

I t does look very much like Burdock, does it have really big leaves? the size of dinner plates? If so the plants are really good for your immune system, they help your thyamus! That aside, nice shot, very clear, Thanx for sharing! 8-)

Quite excellent image; we have something similar in the Arizona mountains that drys out and sticks to dog hair as if attracted by a magnet - takes hours to remove and we generally have to carefully cut them out with sissors - they're a real joy :-) Superb composition!
