Description

After a very pleasant morning and early afternoon in Oostende in mid-August we suddenly found the sky darkening and clouds looming. So we left the beach and went into town. Pausing in front of a souvenir shop we saw a girl hurriedly carrying picture-postcard stands inside. And sure enough, not five minutes later it started pouring. Stranded at the souvenir shop for at least half an hour we bought some junk and lots of postcards.
