Description

APO2I>PSP text & opt. Here is another test rendering...I usually rendered my flames in UF but I'm getting the hang of Flam3...density is only 600 in this one. I've been working with Erik R.(through electric sheep) on tests that he is conducting with fairly low density and very high detail! I've have sent him my most problematic "dusty" flames/sheep for testing. I think I have been rendering with too high density which causes hot spots in some flames. He is going to publish his results and I'll post the link when it's all ready, he has some nice charts. If he can work a way with lower density and higher detail that would be great! Erik wrote the "Shoop" program utility for ES. I think it's wonderful how with the collective talents of many people Apophysis is in constant states of development and improvment. Like many, I'm in hot persuit of the 9k*12k flame rendering that won't take a month to render and still maintain clear subtle detail. I'm going to send him the above and see what he can do with it. Have a good day! Chris

It should be a beauty, you can see that there will be lots of splendid detail behind all the puffies. It makes a wonderful still image.
