Description

...Into these realms, ye shall not pass... This image started as a test of mixing photographic skies with a Terragen landscape. It may have gotten slightly out of hand.. The land is from Terragen, with a red granite texture mapped to it (photo). The sky is two seperate cloud photos combined. The Tachyon filter from Flaming Pear creates the negative chroma effect. The creatures are from Poser, rendered in Bryce 5, with an altered skin color. The lightning is from Xenofex, the Planet is from Lunarcell (Flaming Pear) and the atmosphere was enhanced with Aetherize (Flaming Pear). The skulls are from a photo texture, I don't remember where I got it. The fur on the beasts is from Eye Candy 4000. The character is "Beastie" by David John Fielder and Mike Goddard, from R'osity Freebies. I had a lot of fun making this one; hope you like it, and comment if you want.

This is really cool. The wind effect in particular gives it life. To pick a nit, the font on the title takes me out of the melancholic mood.
