Description
This is my first attempt at painting clothes. I know there is still a lot wrong with it but I've been looking at it so long that I don't see what's wrong anymore. Any comments or suggestions are greatfully received.

Looks really good from here, could use some frilly culfs on the sleeves. :D

Very Good! wish I could paint on the clothes as well as you have done. Constructively speaking, perhaps adding a little bit (poco, poco) of highlight to the seam of the pants on the side of the leg, as you have done for the waist and hip. soft shadow behind the character would provide clue as to the direction and size of the lighting maybe? Same for the inseam, needs a touch of shadow and highligt to emphasize the folds and wear at the crotch....

It looks very nice. I think the main thing that's missing is shadows - inside the waistband, under the arms, at the cuffs, around the neck (or maybe you just haven't gotten to them yet?)

It looks terrific I think I agree with Jayarraich maybe just very low opacity drop shadows. This is an amazing first attempt.
