Description

In the 21st dynasty of the Pharaohs a funeral was held for Henut Taui - the Lady of the Two Lands. Compared to the great rulers of Egypt, her burial was extraordinarily modest. But just like the Pharaohs, she was mummified and her body placed inside her tomb in faith that it would grant her immortality. Her mummified body waited throughout recorded history - through the time of the Greeks and Romans, the thunder of the Dark and Middle ages--- the Renaissance and Napoleon until in the early 19th century when her tomb was plundered and the Lady was once again brought out into the light of day. The king of Bavaria bought the ornate sarcophagus with the mummy inside. He gave it to a museum in Munich where for another century Henut Taui slept undisturbed. Then in 1992, Dr Svetla Balabanova, of the Institue of Forensic Medicine, Ulm Germany, made a discovery that upset the world of Egyptology and called into question whole areas of science. She discovered that the body of Henut Taui contained large quantities of cocaine and nicotine. The surprise was not just that the ancient Egyptians had taken drugs since they actually consumed a virtual laundry list of recreational mood enhancements--- but that these drugs come from the tobacco and coca plants--- plants completely unknown outside the Americas--- unheard of until Sir Walter Raleigh introduced smoking from the New World or until cocaine was imported in the Victorian era. After the first tests came more---134 Egyptian Mummies were drug tested and over one third of them were found to contain cocaine and tobacco. It would appear that someone in Ancient Egypt was doing brisk trade with the Americas...and that the Lady of the Two Lands became immortal after all. Copyright Blue Moon News---used with permission. A search of Dr Svetla Balabanova on the internet will net you hundreds of articles about this. ****** Once again, I didn't have a clue which genre to use---it could be historical, but I doubt she looked anything like this. And I don't have a clue how many different ways they may have ingested thier drugs, but this is easily recognized. This is the lovely Shiloh, (available at www.illusions-designs.net) with massive input from Anton's Egyptian things available at DAZ, with ELsie's fantasy skin by Rhiannon. The Blue Lotus prop pack from Poisen supplied the blue lotus with Egyptian statues by the hankster. The room is from Evanara in free stuff. Thanks for taking the time... :) Oh, and they didn't have an adult situation button to check or I would have. :D

he history that you narrate is true, besides rakes of coca in the hair, tobacco and MaryJuana also found and it is not joke! also in the mummy of Ramses II were remains of tobacco. As they were these substances in the bodies of the mummies it is a mystery, although they could be plantations that had been worked in Egypt and then extinguished as so many other things. But doesn't he/she stop to be curious true?
