Description

Apo 2.02i + text I was pleased that you viewed "Global Warning" recently. Back to butterflies today, who many observe are disappearing as we remove the countryside hedgerows and change the way we garden and use chemicals to kill the "weeds"

I love butterflies. This is a gorgeous image of them and it really does look like they are dancing. The overall presentation is just amazing. I really enjoyed looking at this image.

It looks like a pen and ink study with the slight black outlining of the wings. Wonderful

I like this series in which you are giving us strong messages that need heeding. We only see less than a quarter of the butterflies we used to see these days. Buddlias and all their other favourite blossoms will not bring them back to us! Back to your picture.. It is very beautifully presented - nearly said drawn, for that's what it looks like. Very skillful image indeed.

A beautiful butterfly composition! Excellent artwork. Genetically altered crops also kill some types of butterflies.

My goodness, how did you get those in Apo? Those are stunning and I have to agree to that they look like they could have been drawn. You have chosen wonderful colors for them. As for the lessening of butterflies, I have to agree. Last year I could not believe how many I saw. As for this year, I have probable no more than 15 all together. It is sad. They are do lovely and peaceful to watch.
