Description

This bit of a stone hill is located about 2 miles more or less directly in front of my house - I finally got around to getting over there after about 10 months :-) Don't want to be in too much of a hurry you know :-) Thank you all so very much for all your wonderful comments and I wish to thank you for taking your time to view my artistic scribblings. Your comments and suggestions are not only deeply appreciated but valued highly.

Rocks make such an interesting subject, for very much like people, no two are exactly alike. Love how well this photo shows the facets and erosion. The rock itself has an aura of very ancient wisdom about it. Fabulous, stormy sky...another wonder you've shared with us. VOTE

A very nice piece of rock against wonderful clouds. Looks like a bit of rain would be most welcome here. Everything looks scorched, with subdued colors on the vegetation. Excellent capture!

Love what you did with the sky! You guys have monsoons, which I remember very well as a kid, visiting my aunt and uncle in lake Havasue. Up here in the Sierras they are just plain old Thunder storms! either way it is awesome!
