I'm a 53 year old woman, who enjoys 3D rendering, photography, breeding and exhibiting English Budgerigars. I also am learning to speak Nepali. I live in the "kinda" northeast area of the USA. Just me and my one cockatiel....at the moment. (Bird wise that is...)
I have been doing Poser since June of 2005 because of my oldest brother prodding me along. I'm glad he did! I don't strive for absolute perfection in my renders. I render for stress relief and above all FUN and enjoyment.
I had to take a sabbatical for a while but I am now back and I am very impressed to see all the changes! This is going to be exciting!

So allow mr to be the first to express my heartfelt wishes to Joan in her time and to extend my strength to her and to you during this most trying of time that comes to each of our lives. So be as brave and strong as you can for there are many who care for and love you and will be there for you and Joan during this... Take care and tis a lovely tribute to a woman I knew only by word of mouth touching and exquisite.

Having gone through something similar to this last year with my mother,I know the turmoil of losing someone to this and you're dealing with it in the best way possible by remembering the good times.Beautiful work m'lady and is more than just an image...it truly reflects your heart by bringing your memory to life:)

This is a beautiful image full of emotion. Our spirits (at minimum) live on through those we have touched and whose lives we have impacted during our short stays on this earth. It is clear that you friend's spirit will live on in a large number of people (like yourself) that that she has touched over the years. You have paid her a wonderful tribute here with both your artwork and your dedication. Great Big HUGZ, Kylee

Congratuations on your first year with poser! You are certainly progressing faster than I did. This is a lovely image and a most heartfelt dedication. I lost a close friend several years back, so I have an inkling of what you are going through... Your image is a celebration of her life and those people such as yourself that she has touched along the way! My prayers and thoughts are with Joan, her family, and frieds!

This is very kind, and I wish Joan the best. I've had many endings that did not come as I would have wished. Steve http://ethesis.blogspot.com/

How incredibly touching this render is -- you must be very close to this person. The emotion that you captured in the face of the female is incredible. The horse just seems to have the expression of "knowing" what is wrong. Total excellence in your work and beautiful tribute to your friend.

Ahh This is beautiful I am moved to say this.. Dear Lord, If it is destined that you're bringing this daughter home, please make the journey easy and lovely. If her destiny is to find a cure as we all hope..please keep her without pain and give her strength. Amen Lighthouse, congratulations on your 1st anniversary.

I just wanted to post an update to Joan's health. She has been sent home and all treatment has been stopped. She has round the clock care from Hospice and her family. She is comfortable but not aware of much that goes on. They feel she may make it through the holidays but are not sure. Please continue to keep her in your prayers and thoughts. Thank you all for everything. Once again, if you love someone, tell them today for tomorrow they may not understand or may not be here to tell. =o(
