I loved this beatiful and charming alien at first sight! ...so this render is a tribute for Discovery channel for its great programs.
The smooth curve of this creature's crested head is accented by blue biolights.
At more than 60 feet tall, the Sea Strider is the largest animal on Darwin IV; only the Amoebic Sea's gelatinous surface can support its enormous bulk.
This alien feeds on that sea, using mouths located on the bottoms of its giant feet; each footstep shaves off a thin layer of gel, which is sucked up and digested in the creature's torso.
