Fastened with a popper
there in the buttock of my soul
there, can you see
beside the thickened heart
near the spoiled, burned guts.
My spirit.

I want to rewrite my comment, it was too analytical, and this is a very heartfelt piece, I still say that I felt this, and that perhaps, like the tide, spirits fall and rise, and I do find it interesting that you chose water as your image, an element in constant flux, but there's more. This is a very personal and gutsy piece to put out there, I tend to hide my spirit when it feels low, and you did not, I salute that...
