Description
More interesting than beautiful: What looks like a comet is a Satellite of the "Iridium" group. Normally, they are not or difficult to see. But sometimes the sun is reflected in their solar wings. In this case, they become very bright for a few seconds. If you get the whole flare on the foto, you see a stripe with a brighter center. In this case (in this foto), the exposing time ended in the brightest phase of the flare. The result: It looks like a comet.

Wow, what an incredible capture! Would never have thought to shoot anything like a satellite and yes, those wings can reflect the light when turned towards you! Excellent work, Reinhard, very impressive!
