Description
Ok Here is the situation. I have been trying out the whole painting cloth in postwork. I haven't had to much success at it, so I am asking for your help. I painted the cape. I originally had a cape on her, However I wanted to try to paint one. So this is what I came up with. Please feel free to let me know how it looks. Thanks everyone, and have an excellent night....

First of all, let me say that i like the image's mood and setting, as well as the girl's look - since i'm a big fan of the "dark side"! :) Than, the cape... clothpainting is not exactly my strongpoint, so treat my opinion with extreme care! :) Anyway, i think it looks pretty good and realistic - you even got a bump-like effect on it! Only improvement i would make would be to make it a bit longer and to cover up more of the shoulder! Hope this help! hugs the bunny Ouch! ;)

love the mood and to me (i am inexperienced in cape painting let alone cloth painting) i like the fold effect on it - and like Grimage said.. cover the shoulder a bit so its more cape like - but other then that.... totally cool and i love the mood!

You really ARE a natural at anything you do and I am so in awe of your talent. First off, I love this image, it's gorgeous and that dress is to die for. As for the cloak, I like the texture and the folds and movement are wonderful. I agree with GRiMAge, maybe bring it over the shoulder just a bit more and and the only other thing I noticed is that you can still see the tree between her back and the cape (or is that the cape lining?). Take this with the proverbial grain of salt since my painting skills are practically null and void. hugz?

I love the mood of the whole scene, and your work on her hair & outfit is super (10x better than I can do, so no recommendations from me except keep doing it). Marvelous lighting, too. Wonderful artwork!!

I agree with Jan in that you really excel no matter what you tackle! Very beautiful, eerie, and a bit wicked...just how I like my women! (But we won't get into that fiasco!) The painting is awesome! I paint houses and fences pretty good, but that's about it! The setting is fantastic and very suitable for her and the lighting is very well done! You truly know how to create scenes that are so eyecatching!! Excellent artwork, as always, Tina!!!

I think this is an awesome render and your painting seems perfectly fine to me! I didn't even notice the cloak was painted till you said something!

Since others have told you about the cloak, I'm just going to tell you that this is really gorgeous work. Love the color of the cloak. And that dress is marvelous! Great hairstyle. Perfect posing and setting.
