Description

Thanks for viewing !! :o) - Today, the first of a serie of seven pics of the dragonfly Migrant Hawker (Aeshna mixta). The idea is to begin with a shot of the entire animal and then gradually get closer to the subject as the serie progresses :o) The first two will be full body shots of the female and male. This one here is the female Migrant Hawker. Wonderful macro and the detail is superb! It amazes me how this creature appears to be able to 'hang on' with just this one pair of spindely legs :-) Magnificent!
